This week's been busy.

Tani had her first costume fitting yesterday at Rose's Costume. She is really excited about her part. She plays Hestor, a ghost of a young girl about 11 that was unjustly accused of being a witch during the Salem Witch Hunts.
Reunion on Gallows Hill is gearing up! They are getting ready to perform in their UIL competition at Ryan High. Right now it is all about rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal! She says her costume is really cool, black and puffy, with a cream apron. She says it is a little creepy, and a lot of fun. You can be sure pictures are forthcoming.

After the fitting, Trent and I took Tani and Cody to a Dallas Stars hockey game, it was their birthday game. Tani's birthday was Thursday (she is 13!), and Cody's birthday is in May, after hockey season ends. So we took them out together. Stars won in a shootout! It was a great game to watch. Definately the right one to see for a birthday!

Growing Weeds

With our business as time consuming right now, you should see my house. I will NOT post pictures. Too scary. I must get my carpets cleaned, (OH HOW I HATE CARPET) do a Ton of laundry. Thank heavens for kids that help sometimes. We had an all day meeting in Fort Worth yesterday, and Tani had dinner done and the kitchen cleaned, the baby was dressed (he's a stripper like she was) and the house downstairs picked up. Wow! She was rewarded for that.

6 Flags over Texas

For Christmas break we went to 6 Flags with the kids. It was great. It was nice to spend the entire day just goofing off.

I have learned that I am something of a workaholic. (always gave Trent a hard time for that, and I am worse than he is!) It was nice to get away from the home office and just be with the family. We did let the older kids go do their thing for a while on the wild rides, while Zach and Cody and Trent went on the mildy terrifying rides. I rode the little baby rides with Braxton. His absolute fave was the carousel ride. This picture is taken right below the carousel house. When we met up together, everybody had done their thing, and everybody was happy. We spent some time together, then broke up again to have some fun. Bri, Zach and Brax and I enjoyed the huge light show they had, but then he temp dropped to about 40*, so it was getting a bit cold. I rounded everybody up, and that was our day. Trying to get pics of our older ones seems to be hard, they never are around when you have a camera. I did manage to snap this one of Thain right before we left.

Wow! Christmas is over!

What a busy holiday we have had. We went to Austin to visit Trent's family and had a great time the weekend before Christmas. It was really relaxing. We opened presents at home with the kids, then went to my mom and dad's for the rest of the Christmas day. It was so nice to be with so many family members. In Utah and California that wasn't ever possible.

We spent the night with my mom and dad, and celebrated my birthday the next day.

Here's a picture of Braxton on Cody's new bike, and Cody to the left. They are so big!
